Garden Design, landscaping, planting - Cambridge

I was born in Peterborough in 1954, and educated at Corpus Christi College , Oxford , where I read Politics, Philosophy and Economics. I studied horticulture at the Cambridgeshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture, and at Writtle College in Essex . Since 1987 I have designed and created gardens of all kinds in and around the Cambridge area.

I am keen grower of vegetables and have been closely involved in many nature conservation projects. In 2002 I was awarded the coveted Royal Horticultural Society's Master of Horticulture degree and became a Member of the Institute of Horticulture .

I have a long-standing commitment to the local community and I am interested in the arts, field botany, church architecture and local history. I am a member of the Wildlife Trust, the Cambridge Preservation Society, the Cambridge Flora Group, the Cambridgeshire Gardens Trust, and the Botanical Society of the British Isles .
